USH kickoff Sept 14-17

At the start of class, we will watch the opening of the HBO miniseries, “John Adams”.  In that opening, you’ll see the courtroom trial of the British soldiers who were accused of killing American colonists at the Boston Massacre.

John Adams, although he believes in America’s independence, defends the British soldiers in court.  He does this because he believes every person should be entitled to a fair trial, no matter what their crime.
